Bio
For over 30 years, Paul Clark has been working in the outdoor industry as a photographer, wilderness instructor, backcountry guide, ski patroller, avalanche rescue dog handler, and adventure paddler.
He's wintered in a snow cave for over 80 nights in the Sierra Nevadas,
paddled the 1,000-mile Sea of Cortez coast of Baja (twice) in a kayak, solo,
and has thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail.

When Paul began stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) with gear strapped to the board, he quickly built a reputation as SUPPAUL
"the duffle bag paddle boarder."
​
Running whitewater on a board caught his attention in 2012, Since then, he's become a leading expert in river SUP, paddling more than 170 different rivers througout the US, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Panama, Chile, Austria, Slovenia, New Zealand, and Japan.

SUPPAUL is Paul's brand as an athlete and photographer, both on the water and behind the lens.

Along the way, Paul has always carried a camera,
documenting experiences, highlighting exceptional people moving through dramatic landscapes and promoting quality brands.
He now has a varied client list that includes SUP brands, paddle companies, outdoor gear manufacturers, apparel companies, outfitters, yoga studios, retail shops, parks & rec offices, artists and athletes, adaptive sports programs., as well a real estate brokers and insurance claims agents.
