The Lower Deschutes is a marvelous destination for such an experience. Long sections of swift moving flatwater give adventurous people a thrilling experience on a paddle board on guided day trips. Challenging but manageable sections of Class III whitewater make the perfect place for learning how to navigate rapids safely and effectively during clinics.
