Maupin Experience (SUP Float)

Service Description

River paddle boarding is a thing.Is it for you? Come to Maupin on the Lower Deschutes to experience the possibilities. With our partners at the Imperial River Lodge we offer an introductory "SUP Float" that includes outfitting with river-ready boards and paddles. We focus on safety and fun. We'll be on the water in a stable stance (sitting, kneeling and/or standing), and navigating basic river features. After a short dry-land instruction, we hit the water to practice some moves, then do a fun run through Class II wave trains.
