MAUPIN EXPERIENCE Level 1 (5HR)

Service Description

This is a perfect introduction to river paddle boarding! Based with our partners at Imperial River Lodge on the Lower Deschutes River in Maupin, Oregon, clinics focus on the fundamentals of river SUP in an ideal setting for river paddle boarders. In this clinic we introduce a variety of stance and paddle techniques; practice eddy turns and river wide ferries; learn the safest way to fall/recover; and run a short section of river through Class II wave trains. River-ready boards and paddles are provided. We will be wearing shoes, helmets, and PFDs on the water.
